Infant to Athlete is dedicated to empowering parents with the knowledge, resources, and tools they need to create a supportive and nurturing environment for their child's physical and mental development in sports. By offering comprehensive courses and resources, we aim to work with parents to optimize their child's motor skills and mental toughness, giving them the best chance of success in the sporting realm.
At Infant to Athlete, we understand that busy parents may not have the time or resources to stay up to date on the latest research and best practices in motor skill and cognitive development. That's why we do the leg work for you. Our team of experts, with careers in sport and education, read the research, listen to the podcasts, and scour the internet for reliable information on child development within the sporting realm. We then compile this information into engaging content that is designed to give parents the knowledge and tools necessary to optimize their child's athletic potential.
At Infant to Athlete, we are proud to have a team of experienced professionals dedicated to supporting child development in sports. Darren and I have over 30 years of experience in developing the motor skills of young people. While I have consulted on Physical Education internationally, Darren has led a successful Physical Education department and played a vital role in his own children's sporting journeys. His daughter is an elite youth soccer player, and his son is a regional rugby player. In addition to Darren and myself, our extended team includes advisors who are experts in their respective fields, further enriching our resources and knowledge base.
